Abstract

These companion poems explore two contrasting yet interconnected dimensions of the human experience: the pain of emotional absence and the transformative possibility of profound union. Absence reflects on the quiet devastation of neglect, the futility of seeking love from those unable to give it, and the courage required to move toward authentic human connection. True Love envisions love as a patient process of inner and relational alignment, drawing on the metaphor of quantum entanglement to portray two souls gradually becoming one. Together, the poems invite readers to contemplate loss, healing, and the enduring human longing for genuine belonging and transcendence.
